A Day To Highlight the Diversity of Mississippi
The Hinds County School District (HCSD) was the first to perform “Mississippi Beautiful”, creating a groundswell of community support. See the honor choirs‘ encore performance at the HCSD Fine Arts Festival on March 20, 2018.
In 2019, Former Governor Phil Bryant issued a proclamation, declaring May 10 as “Mississippi Beautiful Day“ statewide. See the official proclamation celebration with Pam and HCSD students.
